Speaking of the city of seven hills, there is also the Miradouro da Senhora do Monte viewpoint, which invites you to take a close look at one of the seven seas from high above. There is certainly no such view a second time, so it should not be forgotten. Even the yellow tram with number 28 simply has to be experienced on the journey through the capital. Such a trip does not cost much and leaves tourists instantly lingering in nostalgia. Typical for Portugal are of course the cathedrals and one of them is the Sé de Lisboa, which is ideal as a photo motif. The walk through the Portuguese old town is of course also a wonderful event, which should not be missing here. Narrow streets, small side streets and cafes ensure that all tourists have a good time here and that nothing is lacking. If you want to explore the city anyway, you shouldn’t miss the Arco da Rua triumphal arch. The magnificent forecourt of Baixas, a city once completely destroyed by a severe earthquake, is also located here. Historically, this place is something very special, but the modernity cannot be denied here either. Because small cafés provide a great view of Portugal’s history, which can also end in the ruins of the Igreja do Carmo.

Who would have thought that there are so many sights from long-forgotten centuries close to the Atlantic?
