Embro Therme is about 10 kilometers from Kos town on the island of the same name. The city is on the south east side of the island. Access to the thermal baths is free for visitors. There is a 25 square meter large and delimited pool. This pool is made of natural stones. Here you have the opportunity to bathe in very hot and sulphurous water directly in the sea.
Enjoy thermal springs in nature
The bathing area is a maximum of 1 meter high and not deep either, so that this bathing area is also accessible for non-swimmers. Sulfur-smelling water in hot form emerges here from the nearby rocks. Mixing with seawater then occurs directly in the basin. Temperatures of around 50 degrees Celsius are reached here. That’s why you don’t stay in this pool for a longer period of time during the day. The waves from the sea break over the existing natural stones as a refreshing part of the pool. You can also watch the bubbling and sulphur-smelling water that emerges directly from the ground.
